Terms for using Pico and this website.
About these terms
Pico is provided by Wahlu Labs Pty Ltd. Pico is a photo and carousel editor that lets you arrange photos and text in layers, create slides, save local drafts, and export PNG, JPEG or WebP images.
By using Pico or this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Pico.
Your content
Your photos, text and other content remain yours. Using Pico does not transfer ownership of that content.
Use content you own or have permission to use. Respect other people's privacy and intellectual property, and follow the laws that apply to your use and distribution of the images you create.
Using Pico
Use the editor and website for lawful purposes. Do not use them to distribute unlawful content, infringe another person's rights, or interfere with the security or operation of the software.
Nothing here restricts activities that the law allows you to carry out despite a contractual restriction.
Saved work, accounts and exports
The app stores drafts and imported media on your device. A Pico account is optional and does not provide project or photo cloud sync. Keep exported copies of work you need outside Pico, especially before removing the app or changing devices.
Projects in Trash can be restored for 7 days. Expiry is checked when Pico opens, resumes or is in use. Permanently deleted projects cannot be recovered in the app. Exported files in Photos or other apps are separate copies.
Other apps and services
Your device's photo library and any app you choose from the share sheet operate separately from Pico. Their terms and privacy policies apply to their services.

Problems and consumer rights
If something goes wrong, email steve@wahlu.com with your device model, app version and a description of the problem.
Nothing in these terms removes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer law, including the Australian Consumer Law where it applies.
Changes
Wahlu Labs Pty Ltd may update these terms when Pico changes or when legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published.
Pico version 1.0 is free and has no in-app purchases or subscriptions. Questions about these terms can be sent to steve@wahlu.com.
